I haven’t played a video game since I was a teenager. Not saying they’re *stupid* (there seems to be a lot of artistry in some these days), just not for me.
I feel like I'm eternally chasing the dragon with games, trying to find that one game that will make me feel the way games made me feel as a kid, haha. Rarely happens, and when it does, it mostly turns me off toward games even *more,* since it makes me realize most other games are wasting my time.
I dunno, I'm probably better off playing fewer games and reading more books. Even a lousy book will only waste ~10 hours of my time, whereas most games are designed to suck up hundreds of hours that I'll never get back. :\
Hahahaha. I've been off social media for almost two years now, and I've found I haven't missed it at all...but I do sometimes wonder how much I've cut myself off from my ✨audience✨ and ✨community✨
"The real world has always seemed like a foreign country to me, and thinking about doing things in it is almost always more interesting to me than actually doing them."
I was technically able to answer that I play in moderation.
(On weekdays. Due to Lenten Restrictions. Though similar, maybe more, moderation would probably be good once Easter comes.)
Lost in my own head here, too.
If you ever find the way out, please come back and save me
I do know how to get completely out of my head... side effects aren't the best, though
Haha
Wow! Thanks for posting a link to that piece by Some Guy. That was astonishing.
Right? I’ve been reading through the Bhagavad Gita lately, and the parallels are something for sure.

Ohhhh, boy, did that hit home.
Haha. I almost deleted that sentence because I was convinced it didn’t make sense. Glad it found its audience. :)
It made too much sense. Way, way too much sense. :-D
