I've finally got them worked out!

Hey all!

The paid subscription thing has been kind of a mess since I switched it on, because I was still figuring out how the technical side. But as of this morning, I’ve got the benefits side of things worked out. Going forward:

• All free subscribers will get a free digital copy of my debut novel Ophelia, Alive: A Ghost Story.

• All paid subscribers will get a free digital copy of Ophelia, Alive and my nonfiction debut, Murder-Bears, Moonshine, and Mayhem: Strange Stories from the Bible to Leave You Amused, Bemused, and (Hopefully) Informed.

• Anyone who signs up for an annual subscription will receive both digital books, plus a signed book of their choice!

• Anyone who takes the plunge and becomes a founding member will receive both digital books and both signed books!

I’ll continue to do a monthly drawing for each signed book as well, and all new subscribers (paid and free) will continue to be eligible.

I also plan to occasionally paywall stuff, but most of my work here will continue to be free. ’Cause I like you guys and I like writing for you.

Also: I’ve lowered the cost of a paid subscription to a measly $5/month or $50/year, because I know your money is valuable and you’d rather spend it on boring stuff like clothing or food. 🙄

Finally, anyone who already has both digital books is (obviously) grandfathered in. I’m not Amazon or Sony; I’m not going to try to take back your digital media.
