Back in December, I did a special deal where anyone who signed up for my Substack got e-copies of both my books for free. I’m pleased to announce that it went so well, I’ve decided to make it permanent!

• Ophelia, Alive: A Ghost Story, which is the sort of pretentious purple-prosey horror novel you write after earning an English degree. It’s about drug trips and zombies and Hamlet. It won awards from Independent Publisher and Literary Classics, so it’s probably good.

• Murder-Bears, Moonshine, and Mayhem: Strange Stories from the Bible to Leave You Amused, Bemused, and (Hopefully) Informed, which is a breezy romp through the weirdest, obscurest, and cringiest bits of the Christian and Jewish scriptures. It’s written with a general audience in mind, so you’ll probably get something out of it, even if you’re not religious. It won awards from Readers’ Favorite and American Book Fest, so, again, it’s probably good.
